Week Fifty I’ve Got Me Xmas Decs Up Nifty!

The Rayner Christmas Grotto is fully installed and well done to legendary TA Forum member and ICE nutter TWONKS!!
He was the only respondent to my little Christmas Fantasy System Challenge from last week and so gets a dts test disc Ebaying for around seventy dollars a pop, I found!
Last week I was off into London to a big PR agency where Harman Consumer UK were running an event about the JBL MS8 and had folks there from Car Audio & Security with their M3 demo car. I had struggled two hours by tube and paid car park to get there, only to get to ruddy Hammersmith and find a car park at the agency big enough to have pulled a bloody Winnebago into, let alone my Volvo! And s’welp me, with respect to a collection of very powerful journalists, I was the only damn one to spot an error on one of the Powerpoint slides, showing the on board wattage power (some 18W RMS) going up with an increase in impedance rather than the other way around. (shoulda said two Ohms, not eight) Sounds geeky but you expect technology writers to have an inkling of the actual, factual technology! Not that I envied the lucky git who has driven Ferraris aroundand the guys at Bite Communications got me a birthday cake, which was really sweet of them! (I shared it out.) I also made a quite presentable video for the front page with top bods from Harman about the car and the system – but will hang it back a tad for a gap in Tiffany’s cleavage!
Anyway, I have a horribly busy week with a couple of heavy duty meetings and a trip to go see some on-wall picture frame speakers tomorrow for Home Cinema Choice and you know what? I reckon the Twitter Imperative is upon me finally. It can no longer be avoided! I’ll let you know when I have learned to open the Beak.
I’ll go get on then.
