Editorials

Week Forty-Nine It’s Exotica Auction Time!

Ho Hum, regarding last week’s little editorial contest proposal and lack of any entries, it’s quite clear that none of you cynics believe I can swag anything for you for Christmas, so I’ll have to ante up!
I have three copies of the awesome surround sound dts Master Audio demo Blu Ray #14 disc to give away. These are not available to the public (around sixty dollars on fleabay) and will be posted free to the first three entrants you can post it on the mag discussion forum and link to it via the comments facility beneath or post it all below, here on the front page. (You will need to read last week’s editorial as well via the drop-down menus above under ‘˜Features’) You will need a Blu Ray player and dts Master Audio decoding to play this disk.
On a slightly less upbeat front, we have a large item of news. Our nicked-from-us-too-early Harry Bo, long-served admin on Talk Audio, has left a select few of you a mad Christmas present.
His loss is still keenly felt and the internet ghost in the machine effect is a little disturbing. (I keep on getting messages raised automatically by the Linkedin site due to how much we have in common through his still extant account.) But the collection of toys and tech that Chris had amassed was impressive and Diabetes UK are going to benefit from the sales of all the stuff this top tech dude chose for his own. We shall be having a Memorial Charity Auction, with jexdirectedtech in charge. Amps and speakers for home and car, all sorts of goodies and all top quality stuff. I’ll posh a news story up when it goes live as a topic on the classifieds forum. Open to all but terms will be cash and collect for most bods, unless time-served and known to the mod team.
I’ll go get on then.Adam Rayner
