Week Forty-Six Vegas Coming Up Quick

Well, I pushed my luck and it didn’t work as I was trying to wangle a ticket to Vegas for the Winter Consumer Electronics Showbut the good news is that our very own Guru will be there with his dealer head on, getting to play on the fastest go karts in the west and all sorts of fun things. I know I can get him into the press room to collect a lovely laptop bag that Toshiba have always provided, even in the depths of the recession but I reckon he’ll be happier squirreling news onto the system from his hotel room hook-up. So while you may not get in your face Gonzo videos with me leering at ya, we will be getting the skinny from a top snapper who knows his ICE (sorry, ‘˜moble electrornix’ as our American chums would say) inside out.
The Clarion iPod lead finally arrived today good old DHL had had to decipher the wrong address. It looked like I had gabbled it to someone who wrote it down wrong when I was asking after one! It was sent out on the 9th! But FINALLY I will plug my mahoosive iPod Touch 64GB into the flagship that is the Clarion double-DIN NX700E and will be able to tell you how well it handles it for Up! and Star Trek and even Iron Man 2 as I have bought BluRay discs with digital editions free included. Just gonna go hack the Hancock file from PSP friendly into iPod flavour now.or try!
