Week Four And I Am Tortured By The Unpublishable!

I was just disgusted to learn that a snapper man called Nixon (no relation) I know from my days at Future Publishing’s London office, has been ticketed to get three points for having snow on his roof while driving! When I saw the story at first upon the Facebum, I honestly thought it was classic FB piffle. But no, Nixon’s tale followed and proved that if you have snow on the roof, it could be deemed a danger. It can all get melty against the roof and slide off in a sheet to obscure your windows. So you are supposed to clear it all&;. Still sounds like daft to me, mind.
Apologies for this being on a Tuesday, rather than a Monday but yesterday was a mad admin day and it got past me but it has meant I have a minor smile for you. In my position, I do get to hear about the installs of the Rich & Famous. That I cannot write about them really grinds my gears! After all, the famous only use the discreet to do such work. In my time, I have learned about Vangelis at Mike Wells and Paul McCartney and Rod Stewart’s installs. And today, I heard about a simple install and then an operational service call, when the installer is asked to go do a makee-learnee session for the new systems’ owner. After all, if they have spent thousands on a full sexy multimedia system in their Luxo-barge über-posh motor, then asking to be given a lesson on how to play a DVD ain’t exactly unreasonable.
But the sheer level of grade A, 24 Karat, REAL fame that the latest bod I got to hear about was so high, it actually hurt to know that I cannot tell you who it was, where it was or even the bloody brand of car. Especially as the overall story was about what a nice, sensible and down to earth person this celebrity was in the flesh. Darn it&;
I went Dahn The Ace Café last night, ordered something with Feta cheese in it – a salad – only to be told they had no Feta&;. To meet Iceman and a lad who paid £50 to TWO HCCA tens – lucky arse and amazingly had never been on Talk Audio, although he had heard of it. I was impressed with his Clio. It rocked! He’s entering boot Boomers this year with Propper Droppers, so you will see more of him. Meanwhile, I’m late, so I’ll get the heck on&;
