Week Sixteen And The Season Is Kicking OFF!
It finally looks as if the owners of that amazing fishery called Tanyard will be able to bring their giant rhubarb out of the poly tunnels to grow outdoors, as we may have had the Last Frost! The weather has certainly taken a warmer turn and the ruddy Jetstream is flowing overhead once more. As such, it is the closest we get to the USA southern states’ ‘windows down’ season. That’s when we need to hear the HiFi as well as get the breeze in our hair.
Well, actually, the forecast says it’ll be rainy and mixed&;
But the show season is kicking off. There is now a lovely little flurry of the best and most enriching shows coming up. We have the bargain-fests that are the dealer open events, run just by those nobby types who have either the super sexy clientele to show off, or else the room to hold a full blown sound off event. Then, we have the insanity of the Win An Install contest prize announcement on May the 1st, right here on Talk Audio and that closely followed by the Modified Nationals show in Peterborough over the weekend of the 25th and 26th May.
So I’ll have lots to report on meanwhile, I finally have all the tech spec of the new FLAC capable head unit from Kenwood, the KMM-257 and that single preout rocks at 2.5V&;
