Week Thirty-One – I’ve Been Burned By The Sun!
Well, apart from one foolish twerp who figured it was cool to do doughnuts in a field, (and a mild sun burn) we had a cracking time at T-18, our yearly meet in a field (see the article by Harry Red Chow!) and the Members Only section have got the bloke identified and located for future reference. During the rest of the day, we had some folks hover in a corner so they could have their cars measured with a very expensive laboratory item by a bloke called Nitin who was working on his postgraduate degree and another cluster of SQ heads (led by Sonic Frontiers and Audio Wave) who kept to the edge of the field so as not to be disturbed by the boomers.
And what a turnout of them! I found a new limit in my bass endurance and got horribly barbecued in some 160dB of bass in Blade ICE’s Chevy Astro and was simply clawing for the exits way past my ‘comfort zone’ which I thought at around 157dB made me as hard as bass nails. Nope!
I have videos to upload of some of the goings on and put gradually onto the front page as well as posting to the Presenterbloke channel on YouTube and thus embed them all in a video report article. That and loads of other stuff to get onto, so as ever…
I’ll go get on, then.
