Week Thirty-Seven And I Know A Secret
I am getting on you know, and finding the ‘˜getting up after too little sleep’ thing, harder work. I still get childishly excited before a show and Trax is no exception. But the day of being ‘˜on’ throughout, doing a minor ice challenge and then presenting the gongs at the end, took it outta me. Even WITH a lift a mile back across the racetrack to take me back to the car, since we took over the Vibe rig at prize time to make it the EMMA stage. And that was a twenty minute hike for everyone.
I admit that while our corner, so far from the pit garages actually got some traffic, under the very first bridge over the track that we all use to gain ingress, it was a remote zone and we did get dumped there two years back. Our best spot was to be just beyond scrutineering Anyway no more bitching from the ‘˜help’! I made a video about how dB Drag racing actually works and made that Motor Neurone Disease or ALS video I was compelled to join in withjust failed to chill down and so only managed 13 seconds immersed! (After a dead pompous warning about how I was in fact a walrus.)
I now know which top end installation company has got the delightful gig of installing the Pioneer Subaru BRZ. But I ain’t allowed to tell you! I know a bit about the kit going in and I even know that it is to be liquid cooled in the amplification section! (Which is more than the executive that signed off the thing knows. It’s me and the tech dept, matey.) I was spectacularly wrong about how and with which technology and was delighted to be so wrong. I can reveal that the cooling system is from the world of over-clocking computers and the fluid is called Aurora Blue Pearlescent and looks like the picture. I am going to go along and video stuff during the build and release it all at once, when the thing is finished.
I have a slew of little videos to do and small collection to get uploaded, so I am getting on it
