Week Twenty-Two The Bass Beat Me Black & Blue

Poor Jay Golinsky. He has been a passionate modified car nut all his life since he was a young lad. I have known him since he only had his mama’s car to drive and now, well he is a hard working ‘˜suit’ in the daytimes to be able to afford life and lovemostly love of a wee pug and the efforts of He Who IS K at Xquisite Automotive to turn said pug into a thing of deep beauty. He has won some serious trophies and was indoors at the Modified Nationals.
Having been into car detailing so early on in the UK scene that he was even on TV for the amount of stuff he had to clean his car with, as well as the sheer time he spent, Jay is a lifer. Bless him, he’s also shed a measurable fraction of his body weight and gone from cuddly to hench in about a year. This does mean his blood sugar is regularly through the floor, so he gets grumpy. But as well as not getting ‘˜Best Ice’ despite the sweet system in his jewel-like ride (arguably with paint the closest to a vitreous glaze of perfection on any car on the site) he also hurt his pug. OUCH Poor lad has the Bonsai Lion so damn low and with sills of GRP, that a condom left behind by a shagging gnat on the car park floor (I think it was a hotel speed bump or bad ramp) meant that he crushed and fractured said side sill. Jay snapped it going back into the lock up with a despairing note. I just hope you get it fixed soon mate and enjoy the summer in her. Just CHECK like you had an Aventadorhell call ahead and say you do have one
I have a slew of stills and video and words to pour out about the weekend show and know I am in flagrant lateness of my column. Yet so help me, I really needed a day off and had also over booked by going out with the fishing mag yesterday. Work will get me through this! And I will finally deliver for next Monday. ‘Morel Mondays’ is to return with a six hundred thousand pound car a Mansory Lambo Aventador with full audio system. The show video looks fun, too.
Lets see what else I can catch up with
